I've used it many times with the hope that it would work itself into better alignment, but it has not
This punch is heavy but very sloppily made. It jams frequently. I've used it many times with the hope that it would work itself into better alignment, but it has not. Another annoyance: you cannot see where the hole will be punched unless you leave open the door that catches the paper scraps and use it upside down. Altogether disappointing.

Very happy with this product as it makes the job go ...
This goes through several layers of the tags that are used on extinguishers. Very happy with this product as it makes the job go quicker as it is easy to use.

Works great. Punched a ton of holes right through plastic and cardstock

I received my first heavy duty hole punch from a state correctional officer who used this tye for heavy duty tags. I had to buy this one because his was missing some pieces. Best investment I've made. Punched thousands of holes with this one already. Shipper was timely and received items in great condition.

Not as good as the old one I had.
I have had a old McGill Punch for 5 years, they were the same brand and look identical.
So I bought 2, they both stick when I punch my inspection tag and I have to take the Handles and pull them apart.
I am hoping they will get better with use.

Heavy Duty Hole Punch
Very durable. Have broken many cheaper models and brands (Staples, Recollections,Fiskars) . We needed a hole punch that we can use everyday without eventually bending and breaking like other brands. Well worth the extra money.

This product description says 1/4" hole punch and I received a 1/8" hole punch. After I received the item I double checked the description and it actually lists both. The punch seems to work really well, but beware of getting the wrong size because of the ambiguous description - it is a 1/8 inch punch and not a 1/4 inch punch as it says. And 1/8" is a really small and useless hole to punch.
