I am an avid 2DayDeliver prime customer and I tend to buy a lot of kitchen tools and accessories as my girlfriend and I love to cook. We came across this veggie spriralizer and we totally felt in love with the product. We found it very practical when we prepare salads and our guests have shown their appreciation for the aspect of our salads and appetizers whenever they come over for dinner. I do not usually give reviews for the products that I buy, but we have been so satisfied with this product and we just finished a great dinner using this bad boy, so thought of stopping by and dropping a big thank you!

Good for zucchini but not much else,
This review is from: Spiralizer with a Twist - By Body and Soul Mastery - Take Your Cooking Skills to the Next Level Now! (Kitchen)This was my first time buying/using a spiralizer. The first thing I made was zucchini noodles, which turned out pretty good. Although, I learned I needed more zucchini than I had thought because there is a bit of waste due to the fact that the spiralizer leaves a core, and you can't spiralize to the end of the zucchini. I just chopped the ends and core and saved for another use.
I recently bought a spiralizer cookbook, and was so excited to use my spiralizer for other veggies like carrots, sweet potatoes, parsnips etc. BUT, this little hand held spiralizer had difficulty with sweet potatoes (even after trimming them to fit) and the parsnips were too skinny, hard and I ended up just grating them on my cheese grater so I could finish the recipe I had started. (Not ideal, but worked in a pinch).
If you are just planning to make "zoodles", this little spiralizer works pretty well. But, if you want to spiralizer harder tubers, and squashes and even fruit, like... Read more
Great hand spiralizer,
This review is from: Spiralizer with a Twist - By Body and Soul Mastery - Take Your Cooking Skills to the Next Level Now! (Kitchen)I eat lo carb and as such have given up pasta. The purchase of one of the first hand held spiralizers some months ago has taught me the love of zoodles. My original spiralizer had worn out, so I was very excited to try this one.
Right out of the package I noticed this one was sturdier, and seemed to be better made than my original. I also was supper pleased to see the small cleaning brush included. This definitely makes cleaning a much more simple act. Of course the first food I tried on was my old friend the zucchini. It made wonderful zoodles and I really like the gripper cap. This one has prongs all over th ecap to hold the veggies once they get small rather than just a quarter sized circle of prongs. This held the veggie very well.
I tried the spiralizer with a Parsnip, a plantain and a carrot. It of course went right through the plantain with no issues at all. The Parsnip took a look extra work but because it is a it spongy it made nice long strips. The... Read more
