So comfortable and easy to put together, don't pay for that choice.

It's like a PU kind of material
This chair arrived today and I was anxiously waiting for it. It took me a couple of minutes to put together, probably 20. The box was heavy. You must be careful and make sure to not tighten the screws until all pieces are setted up. I almost tore the "not leather fabric". This is not authentic leather as it says. It's like a PU kind of material. This chair moves 360 degrees, however it doesn't tilt.
Other thing that I found out is, that when all ready to use, you sit and you want to go little up or down, to adjust you make sure it's "free" I'll show you on the pictures. Just slide that little black thing on the side. Everything else is made of plastic. It looks okay, but I believe you can find better quality at a better price out there.
It is comfortable, but I was little disappointed on not having the tilt option and the back is a little too low for my pleasure. If you ask if I would buy again, I am afraid I'll say no. Would prefer to spend a little more money on a better one. For me quality is very important, because I want something that lasts forever, and that's something that I care for when buying products online. But for now, this will work fine for what I needed.
It comes with all instructions and hardware, so no worries. You won't need anything else.
Important note: This is not leather. It's very soft and can tear easily. Careful when unpacking. Do not use scissors. When having screws and installing you must have extreme caution on not tearing. Keep screws loose until everything is done and set, then you proceed to tighten all screws.

This EXECUTIVE SWIVEL CHAIR makes me feel like an executive in my home office.
The delivery service left the box at our front door. It was heavy, but heaviness is a good quality for a chair to have. We dragged the box the few feet into the den. Although the shipping carton was torn, the contents weren't hurt. My husband took a look inside and started assembling it. He was halfway through before he searched for the instructions. I doubt that I could put it together, but he had no trouble.
After he finished, I sat in it and found it very comfortable, just the right size and the right mixture of softness and firmness. I don't know what "smooth, pliable SofThread Leather" is. It feels and looks like real leather, but I'm not sure.
The chair has a "comfortable style." It has comfortable padding and it is stylish looking. It has a headrest, and it can be adjusted for comfort. It has a five-year warranty. The price is less than I would expect for this classy looking piece of office furniture.

on 2017-07-11 Came back to change my review- I now like this chair after initially disliking it.
***I came back to edit this review (in favor of the chair) because my opinion has since changed***
In terms of set-up, it's really easy to do, and you don't need a second person to help. It went relatively quickly and again, it was very simple. That's definitely a plus, as I hate things that are hard to assemble!
The chair looks nice, but in terms of comfort, I originally though it could be better. I didn't think that it was super comfortable, and I felt like it offered little lumbar support. I took the HON chair to school (I teach) and used it there instead of at home (where I am on the computer quite often).....after a couple months, as I will soon explain, I figured out that the HON chair provided more cushioning than I initially realized.
One big reason I came back to fix this review is because I also own the similar-style chair by 2DayDeliver: 2DayDeliverBasics Mid-Back Office Chair
. I really thought I loved it much more than the HON chair, but I was wrong. With many straight hours working at my desk in the 2DayDeliver chair, my shoulder knots (which I deal with at a mild level on a semi-regular basis....bad posture) flared up to incredibly painful, intense levels. My massage therapist loved it- I was in every week!- and the knots just would not get better. The only thing I could tie it to was my 2DayDeliverBasics chair, which was the only new variable in the work situation. So, in a good ol' experiment, I switched it out for the HON chair. Ever since the switch (plus the addition of a lumbar cushion to add some back padding to the HON chair), I have had NO major knot flair-ups in weeks. Apparently the chair provides more support than I initially thought!
Thus, as stated before, I have come back to fix this review, because I DO believe that the HON chair is a good chair- much better than the 2DayDeliverBasics chair. There are probably slightly better options out there that do not require a lumbar cushion for the extra comfort, but overall, this is a nice chair and now I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in the market.
. The HON chair has a comfortable cushion to sit on, but the back rest is what I don't like about it. My 2DayDeliver chair has some lumbar support- the lower part of the chair arches out a bit and fits the natural curve of my lower back, making it easy to sit back in comfortably for long periods of time. The HON chair seems to curve the opposite way, or perhaps the back goes straight down instead of curving forwards a bit; I find it very uncomfortable because I don't have that extra lower back support.
Perhaps it's just my back/body, and yours might be different, but if I had to give you a recommendation for a mid-back office chair, I'd definitely recommend the 2DayDeliverBasics chair over this one.

Smaller and flatter than I expected. Mine had been repackaged and should not have been sold as "new."
I bought it relying on the HON name, which used to be the best in office furniture. Actual chair is flatter than the photo. This is a mid-back chair. What appears to be a headrest hits me at the shoulder blades (6'3"). Overall it is comfortable for desk work. Mine had been repacked - should not have been sold as new. All the parts were there and not damaged. It's too much bother to return after being assembled.

Comfortable Chair, Good Value
This is a very attractive chair that is reasonably comfortable. At this price point, I would say it is an excellent value. Features that it is missing include adjustable lumbar support, a higher back (I'm 5'6" and the back only comes up to a little above my shoulders) and a tilt adjustment but, again, at this price, no real complaints.
I'm not sure the seat material is real leather, but it certainly looks like it and it feels very soft and supple. One design feature I really like is the extensive height adjustment. I work at an old English style partner's desk which has a higher desk surface than most modern desks. This chair has the range of height adjustment to make working at a high desk very comfortable -- other office chairs I've used don't extend as high.
It was easy to assemble, they include all the tools you'll need, and it took me only 15-20 minutes. Nice chair. Good price.
