This 12 piece carving chisel set is made by a small and highly respected tool manufacturer in the Czech Republic and is of exceptional quality. The set contains 12 tools: 2 knives (large carving knife and chip carving knife), 3 mm straight chisel, 8 mm straight shallow gouge, 12 mm straight shallow gouge, 25 mm straight shallow gouge, 4 mm straight deep gouge, 16 mm straight deep gouge, 12 mm straight V tool, 6 mm bent V tool, 10 mm bent shallow gouge, 8 mm bent deep gouge. Please see pictures for more details. Blades are made from highly allowed Cr-Mn steel and heat treated to HRc 55. Chisel handles are European Beech with an octagonal cross section. Knife blades range in length from 1 1/8 inches to 1 7/8 inches; and carving blades are 3 ½ inches long. Knife handles are 4 inches long by 5/8” wide and chisels handles are 4 inches long by 7/8 inches wide. Set come in a wooden presentation box. As with all fine carving tools, these will need final honing to fully refine the edges before use. This chisel set is an excellent value for good quality tools and will make the perfect starter carving set or addition to an existing set.
